After 10 years developing their world class clean power AUC technology, Blutip commenced a global expansion program in 2012 to take their product suite to various mining markets around the world engaging Globe 24-7 to build their in-country teams of sales professionals, installation technicians and management.
Beyond North America, the launching pad was to build and develop their presence in the Australian mining market focussing on remote coal, gold and iron-ore mining houses. Within two years, Blutip had secured such household names as BHP Billiton, Glencore and AngloAmerican who purchased their AUC applications to reduce fuel costs and improve efficiencies for their mobile fleets.
After Australia, Blutip moved into the multi-billion dollar mining industry in South America by building a regional presence in Bogotá, Colombia. Through the selection of high calibre personnel, this new market experienced great success and has since secured long term contracts with companies such as Carbones des Cerrejón Limited.
In 2015, Blutip’s global expansion program moved into Africa focussing on mid-tier and multi-national mining companies who operate on the continent. Many of Blutip’s current client base also operate in Africa meaning this is a logical next step for the company to cement it’s position in the international market.
