Opportunity knocks for an experienced Mining Operations SECURITY Superintendent, to work on a landmark APAC ‘mega project’, and at the greenfield stage.
Offering the rare opportunity to be involved prior to production, and to ‘own’ all things Operationns Security.
Working on an expat FIFO basis, from any global, point of hire..
I am particularly interested to hear from experienced MINING asset protection Security specialists, that meet the following criteria:
Key Skills & Experience Required
Work Knowledge:
• Significant asset protection experience in Police or a relevant Military role.
• Extensive experience in leading and coordinating teams of security operators.
• Extensive experience in emergency and incident response, incident investigation and liaison with authorities in relation to people and property protection.
• Knowledge of security operations systems and protocols in the protection of a large mine and minerals processing operation and associated satellite infrastructure.
• Demonstrated success as an effective leader.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team safely and improve team safety awareness.
• High level understanding of all relevant legislation affecting the employment and safety of persons in the mining industry.
• Experience in managing department costs and budgeting
• Demonstrated application of continuous improvement ideas
Computer Skills:
• Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, and presentation and spread sheet applications.
Communication Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Able to read and write English at an Upper Secondary School standard.
