HR Supervisor
Join a leading international mining services company as HR Supervisor, managing HR operations for our growing Mexican operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of HR professionals while handling complex labor relations in a dynamic environment.
The Company
Our client is a contractor and engineering company for underground mines, who has selected Globe 24-7 Inc. as its strategic recruitment and selection partner to successfully fill the above position and add value to the recruitment strategy with market knowledge, trends and a track record in conducting similar searches.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager at headquarters, the HR Supervisor oversees HR strategy and program implementation for the Mexico subsidiary, aligning with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of HR specialists handling recruitment, payroll, and administrative functions
- Manage union relations and ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws
- Drive HR initiatives
- Oversee payroll operations and coordinate with third-party service providers
- Implement HR policies and programs aligned with organizational goals
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of HR experience with 5+ years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of Mexican labor laws and union relations
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing
- HR certification preferred (HRCI, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
