The Company
Globe 24-7 in partnership with an equipment, systems and service provider to the mining and associated industries, are working together to source experienced and qualified talent for their operations.  
 
The Role
The Digitalization Manager – Products and Services will focus on the digitalization of the group’s Products and Services business units. This role will drive the digital delivery of their standardized equipment and create a digital interface between the customers and the service and spare parts business to enable a modern and effective interaction between the group and their customers.
As a strategic link, this role will also act as Demand Manager and work closely with the Product Business Line Managers and IT Application Specialists to develop the necessary IT solutions and support internal process changes within the Group.
 
The Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a digitalization strategy for the group’s product lines and services.
  • Lead digital transformation projects from planning to post-launch analysis.
  • Identify and resolve customer and internal process pain points.
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to improve processes and align goals.
  • Oversee product development with engineering for timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Drive S/4 HANA transformation for products, spare parts, and services.
  • Monitor market trends and new tech to stay competitive.
  • Independently manage projects, report progress, and ensure compliance with group standards.

 
The Requirements

  • Experienced digital product or spare parts manager with expertise in product digitalization, ready to lead the group’s digital transformation.
  • University degree in business administration, engineering, computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering.
  • Passion for creating impactful products that address customer and business needs.
  • Proven experience in global spare parts management, preferably in the mining or machinery sectors.
  • Strong project and change management skills, with knowledge of PRINCE2, PMBoK, SCRUM, or Agile.
  • Skilled in process design, optimization, and implementation of tools and new processes.
  • Proficient in SQL and programming languages like Java, HTML, CSS.
  • Advanced SAP or ERP knowledge, especially in customization and module integration.
  • Dynamic, proactive, with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international and intercultural team.
  • Flexible with time zones to support colleagues globally, up to +/- 9 hours difference.
  • Strong integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Customer-oriented, with skills in stakeholder coordination and negotiation.
  • Business fluency in German and English; Spanish and Portuguese are a plus.
