Social Performance Manager
We’re looking for a Social Performance Manager to join the Lundin Foundation and play a key role in strengthening social performance practices across the Lundin Group of Companies. The Company
The Lundin Foundation is a Canadian non-profit organization, that supports Lundin companies in improving sustainability performance and developing strategic community investments that benefit communities surrounding their operations. They have selected Globe 24-7 Inc. as their strategic recruitment and selection partner to successfully fill the above position.
The Role
The Social Performance Manager is the Lundin Foundation’s in-house social performance expert, providing knowledge and guidance to the Lundin group of companies and Foundation teams. The position is based in Santiago, with around 15–25% travel within the region and occasional visits to the Canadian head office.
Main responsibilities
- Provide social performance expertise to corporate partners and internal teams.
- Develop and strengthen frameworks related to Indigenous engagement, human rights, stakeholder engagement, grievance mechanisms, and community development.
- Deliver training and capacity-building programs.
- Support compliance with social performance standards and best practices.
- Build strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives across Latin America.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in social performance, sustainability, community development, or related areas.
- Experience within mining, energy, or other resource industries.
- Strong knowledge of Indigenous engagement, human rights, stakeholder relations, and community development.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Experience in Latin America preferred.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is an asset.
