Are you a technically strong mining engineer ready to step into a statutory leadership role with a growing gold operation?
We are partnering with an ASX-listed gold company entering an exciting phase of growth across Western Australia’s premier goldfields. With a process plant build, new open pits and expanding underground operations on the horizon, this is a genuine opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of a significant and growing operation.
This is not a back-office engineering role. We are looking for someone who thrives in an operational environment, takes ownership on swing and is ready to lead from the front as second-in-charge at a new open pit operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Quarry Manager, leading mine operations onsite.
- Develop Deswik mine plans optimising production outcomes.
- Manage quarry activities, contractors, and stockpiles.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Drive productivity, cost, and operational improvements.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Mining or Civil Engineering.
- Strong mine planning skills using Deswik software.
- Eligible for WA Quarry Manager statutory appointment.
- Experience in hard rock open pit mining.
- Contractor management experience in blasting and hauling.
