Senior Metallurgist
The Company
Globe 24-7 in partnership with their client in Nevada, United States is in search of a Senior Metallurgist.

The Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate closely with production and maintenance supervision as well as external departments to ensure environmental compliance and safe operation of the plant, including equipment maintenance.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, overseeing experimental design, engineering, forecasting, funding, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Drive the development and implementation of automation for data collection processes.
- Offer technical support and analysis to stakeholders within the process group.
- Demonstrate proficiency in strategic business planning and suggest process improvements to optimize cash flow.
- Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related Process-oriented field is mandatory.
- Practical experience with metallurgical and processing analysis methods, coupled with process optimization expertise, is highly desirable.
- Proficient in researching, analyzing data, and making informed decisions to address operational, environmental, and compliance issues based on operational plans.
- Familiarity with various software applications and network platforms is advantageous.
- Capability to handle and analyze large datasets programmatically.
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, or database setup is advantageous.
- Preferred experience with analytical instrumentation and ion exchange theory.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment that aligns with company’s vision and identifies future opportunities.
- Demonstrated capability to fulfill the core responsibilities of the role.
