Globe 24-7 in partnership with an international mining client are working together to source experienced and qualified talent for their mineral extraction operations.
The Role
The incumbent will be tasked with developing, implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental programs and initiatives within the mining operations. The candidate will lead a team and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
The Responsibilities
- Review of current system, procedures, and standards.
- Implementation of new (or improved) Health and Safety Management System.
- Liaise with HSE Team of the Client.
- Following up the implementation of the system.
- Coach and Advise Area Managers and Supervisors regarding health and Safety.
- Lead the HSE Team to coordinate HSE activities in the Project.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations.

The position offers a competitive remuneration package. The role is based in Cote d’Ivoire on a FIFO rotation.
