Globe 24-7, in partnership with our client – a leading Global Tier 1 mining company – has an opportunity for ‘the’ Mineral Resource Manager / Geology Manager to join a large mining operation based overseas. This is an expat FIFO role from any ** Australian ** point of hire; and is a role that has high level visibility at the executive level.
The Role
The primary purpose of the Mineral Resource Manager / Geology Manager is to ensure the smooth running of all facets of geology across a large operation.
The operation is a multi-billion dollar endeavour, and is currently at the operations phase.
The Requirements
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in geology / mineral exploration / mining geology, and may have held a previous statutory role on another sizable operation, as Competent Person / Qualified Person.
We are seeking a strong underground experience, although some open pit experience also may be beneficial.
We are specifically targeting candidates with somewhere in the order of fifteen, to twenty years’, career experience; and it is important you are able to commit to rotational work of 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
