Globe 24-7 in partnership with their client in Nevada, United States is in search of a Geology Growth Superintendent.

Position Overview 
 
We are seeking an engaged, inquisitive, and passionate Growth Superintendent for a world-class mining project. This role will be responsible for driving the growth strategy to support completion of PFS/Feasibility studies, managing geologic models, and leading a team of geologists to execute drill programs aligned with the overall growth and life of mine strategy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of leadership experience in delivering high-value geologic projects to the mining industry. The Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Lead Zero Harm initiatives through visible felt leadership, stop work responsibility, and implementation of safety programs.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide training for geologists, ensuring the establishment and maintenance of development plans for all team members. Foster regular field interactions and core logging activities.
  • Foster regular communication with all site departments to convey strategy and cultivate strong working relationships.
  • Collaborate with Exploration to deliver the Life of Mine (LOM) Growth Strategy, aligning with mining and broader organizational strategies.
  • Develop a balanced resource triangle and advance projects from conceptual to indicated status.
  • Manage the creation and budget of drill programs, overseeing multimillion-dollar programs. Support the Growth team in generating high-quality, geologically driven targets, monitor monthly spending to adhere to budget, and adjust forecasts as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for geologic modeling as established by the Chief Geologist team.

 
Qualifications & Experience  

  • A bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related field is required, with a preference for a Master’s degree.
  • Ten or more years of experience in Mine Geology and/or Exploration is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, business, technical, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar, multi-drill-rig programs safely is required.
  • Proficiency in QA/QC procedures is necessary.
  • Proficient abilities in 3D modeling and database software packages (e.g., Leapfrog, AcQuire, Vulcan, Excel) are required.
  • A valid driver’s license is necessary.
