Globe 24-7 in partnership with one of our key clients is working together to source experienced and qualified talent for their site.
This will be a FIFO role with a rotation of 6 weeks on and 3 weeks off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee all aspects of contract management within the mining sector.
- Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Direct procurement and Supply chain activities specific to the mining sector.
- General Commercial Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency across a broad spectrum of commercial functions tailored to the mining industry.
- Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the commercial team within the mining sector, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in commercial management within the mining industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
- Proven track record of success in negotiating complex contracts and managing procurement processes tailored to mining operations.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on safety, sustainability, and operational excellence within the mining context.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
