Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to oversee our client’s IT operations across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation of computer systems, managing IT-related matters, and leading a high-performing team of IT professionals. This role will involve both strategic oversight and hands-on management of our IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems run efficiently and securely.
This opportunity requires the incumbent to work on residential basis in UAE, but it will have a regional role in looking after UAE, Oman, and KSA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all IT systems, including data, wireless communications, mobile technology, security, hardware, and software.
- Supervise the IT department staff and contractors, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Implement and enforce IT standards and policies to ensure consistent workflow processes.
- Handle IT-related budgeting, including cost-effectiveness and investment efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors for IT products and services.
- Engage with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Systems Administrator, CISSP).
- 7+ years of experience in IT management or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, networks, and platforms.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management and development.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to integrate IT with risk management and business decision-making processes.
