The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Relationship Lead Consultant to join our team on a maternity cover basis for a period of 9-12 months. The role will focus on business development and client relationship management within the European mining and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and experience in developing international or European markets. Multiple language skills, particularly French, would be an advantage.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the mining and energy sectors across Europe.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis and research to identify new trends, challenges, and opportunities in the European mining and energy sectors.
  • Sales Targets: Work towards achieving agreed-upon sales targets and revenue growth within Europe. 
  • Proposal Development: Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and sales pitches for potential clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including recruitment consultants and HR specialists, to deliver high-quality recruitment services.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on client engagement, sales performance, and market trends to senior management.

 
Qualifications and Experience

  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in sales or business development, ideally within the mining, energy, or heavy/ industrial sectors.
  • European/International Exposure: Experience working in European or international markets is highly beneficial.
  • Client Management: Strong client relationship and account management skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous, with a preference for English & French.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the broader team’s success.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, managing your own time and targets effectively.
